year’s Wachusett Reservoir Art Path
(WRAP) was a huge success with
art lovers visiting a dozen studios, galleries, cafes &
and museums in the towns of Boylston, West Boylston, and Clinton.WRAP
is a self-guided tour to meet and enjoy the work of the artists and
artisans in the reservoir towns. With 19 artists and locations this
year, WRAP 2013 has several returning participants along with a new
crop of artists. From pottery to pastels, woodwork & metal
sculpture, African art, Russian icons,
watercolors & acrylics, fashion accessories, and antiques, WRAP has something for every art lover.
And after a day of touring stop at one of the cafes or restaurants of WRAP for a delicious meal.
This year’s roster includes: Mark Waitkus, Aimee Klee, Lynn Babineau, Kate Angell at Wayside Antiques, Lynn Pelto, Lucilia Downer, Kevin Nee, and Becky O’Brien in West Boylston; Collins Artworks, Sunrise Boutique & African Art Gallery, Sooo Chic Boutique, Museum of Russian Icons, Tinker’s Cart, Boston Studio Photography West, Coffeelands Worlds Gifts Espresso Café, Thai Time Restaurant & Gallery, and China Time Restaurant & Gallery in Clinton; Nancy Von Hone and Cherie Clinton in Boylston; plus Stephen Koleshis of Sterling.
WRAP will take place this year on Saturday, February 9, from 10am to 3pm (snow date Sunday, Feb. 10). The WBAF believes it is as important to support our area artists and promote their work as it is to support our aspiring student artists.
